After a successful launch and first year, United By Bass Recordings is coming out the gate firing into 2023. UBB Recordings is beyond excited to announce it’s 5th release which features a fire pair of tunes from San Diego-based artists Cashcult and Klippee. Coming through with an original House tune that is sure to satisfy your dance floor cravings is one of San Diego’s finest, Cashcult. This tune brings the energy with a groovy bassline and catchy vocals that can easily become your dancefloor favorite!
Following up with with an impressive techy drum and bass remix that takes the original tune to new depths is Seattle-based artist Klippe! Both of these artists demonstrate their keen styles and mastery of production in their work, and they are sure to make the dance floor move! Set to drop on Friday, January 20th, ‘Pow Pow’ is now available for pre-order/save on all digital outlets and a preview can be heard below.

Jason Alex, commonly known by his stage name CASHCULT, is an American DJ and musician from San Diego. He began producing music in 2010 as the name Sadies Bens. He produced along side of some of today’s industry leading producers including SNBRN, TJR, Deth Hertz & Mossberg Pump. After signing a deal with Plasmapool Records, his music quickly climbed the charts and his track “I’m Gonna Lick it” sat at the #1 spot for many weeks on the top 10 house tracks on Beatport. Starting 2020 with a fresh start, Jason left behind Sadies Bens and Changed his stage name to CASHCULT. Mixing groovy, with clean, sexy and simple, CASHCULT’s unique sound emerges among the new wave of house producers. Refusing to impersonate his idols, but instead taking inspiration, CASHCULT aims for something different and unheard of. There are no signs of slowing down for 2020. The sky is the limit.

KLIPPEE

Named by MixMag as an artist bringing new energy to the North American Drum & Bass scene, Seattle-based Klippee is certainly one to watch. His versatile, yet forward-thinking production process yields tracks that truly stand out from the norm.
