Skrillex and Noisia seam to be working on new music together.
US bass DJ Skrillex and electronic outfit Noisia have previously collaborated on a number of projects, with Noisia remixing Skrillex’s ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites’ way back in 2010. The DJ and collective member Nik Roos also worked together in December last year, on a theme tune for Obselete, a mecha-based anime and YouTube original series.
Now, Noisia have shared an image on their official Facebook page, depicting Skrillex and Roos back in the studio. It also comes after the Dutch electronic trio, comprising of members Roos, Martijn van Sonderen and Thijs de Vlieger, announced they would be taking a new direction in 2020, and will embark on one final tour this year as their current three-member format before disbanding.
Skrillex also teased new material with LA-based artist Softest Hard at Bangkok’s 808 Festival, which took place in December last year.
