“On the surface, the vocals in the EP tells a story that may provoke remembrance about our friends and family who have left our world. However, the story is really more about our ‘dreams and desires’ and our journey to live authentically in that space with a heart of gratitude and harmony. The original mix is meant to express the sensual nature we feel when we exist in this space. The gentlemen’s remixes unintentionally came together as I had envisioned for the EP. Memo’s remix expresses the euphoria we feel when we reach a place of harmony. Kinohou’s remix expresses a state of purgatory when we find difficulty reaching a balance that prevents us from fully living in our harmony. And my ‘Flipped Alternative Remix’ is about letting go, acceptance, and trying to find peace when we find there are difficulties that temporarily keep us from fully living in a state of harmony. It’s about losing yourself in where you are now in order to find yourself again. ” – Terry Jasinto
