UBB TOP 5: EVLO'S TOP 5 HOUSE & TECHNO TUNES
Few San Diego DJ’s are known for crossing boundaries into other genres quite as well as United By Bass resident Evlo has. His House & Techno sets are second to none while his DNB sets leaving you craving for more. With a ear to the underground, amazing track selection and precise mixing, Evlo has become one of San Diego’s premier DJ’s and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
With the world still in quarantine, we wanted to catch up with Evlo to see which 5 Tunes are at the top of his playlist at the moment. What he gave us is a list full of amazing music by some of our favorite producers! Check out his list and make sure to follow Evlo to keep up with new music and upcoming gigs.
1) LO'99 - Hans Zipper (Medium Rare Rec)
This epic tune from LO99 has been in almost all my sets as of late. Love the epic build up and that 2nd drop is to die for
2) Dillon Nathaniel - Modern Romance (South Of Saturn)
I love songs with 90s vocals and this is another good one. Bumping driving tech house. Would not expect anything less from Dillon Nathaniel.
3) Mihalis Safras - Street Lights (Moon Harbour Rec)
A fun energetic tune with some gangster ass vocals, what more could you want.
4) Detlef - Bout Time (Moon Harbour Rec_
Detlef is one of my all time favorite artist, I like using this one at the start of my sets it has a nice groovy feel to it but it still bumps.
5) Claude VonStroke Feat. Barry Drift - I'm Solo (DIRTYBIRD)
A little on the darker side with my good friends Memo Rex and Dylan Andrews. The vocals on this track are the best.
