UBB TOP 5: MITCH DODGE'S TOP 5 HOUSE & TECHNO TUNES

The Electronic Music scene is constantly on the move, yet anyone can tell you Mitch Dodge is a major staple and his influence continues to grow both in and outside the community.

With the world currently on lock down, we wanted to catch up with the man him self and see what Top 5 House Music Tunes are at the top of his playlist at the moment. What he gave us is a list full of amazing music by some of our favorite producers on earth! Check out his list and make sure to follow Mitch Dodge to keep up with new music and upcoming gigs.

“Here are some of the top tracks I have been playing in my recent mixes and radio features. Most of the tracks are new releases from some of my favorite artists and also an original I hope you all enjoy! Thank you to UBB for having me, and I hope everyone is in a good place during this craziness and don’t forget… stay home!” – Mitch Dodge

1) Joe Pea & Susio - Black Koolaid (Slightly Sizzled Rec)

Susio and Joe Pea recently released their new EP on Slightly Sizzled Records and it has been an absolute go to in almost all of my sets. Their titled track ‘Black Koolaid’ is also seeing some serious chat work on Beatport and support from artists like Treasure Fingers, Gene Farris and more.

2) Pattern Drama - Time Will Tell ft. Hannah Noelle (Mitch Dodge Remix) (MusicIs4Lovers)

I recently had the opportunity to remix a track off of Pattern Drama’s latest EP titled ‘Time Will Tell’. This release is special to me since the body of work is something different than the type of music I am typically known for. The response on the remix has been amazing and if this is your first time listening to it I hope you enjoy!

3) Kevin Knapp - Bleep Blop (Desert Hearts Records)

Kevin Knapp has become one of my favorite DJ’s and Producers ever since I saw him play Desert Hearts festival 2018. Every release from him so far this year has become a must play release after release, this track ‘Bleep Blop’ is a go to for the dance floor, and make sure to check out the remixes!

4) Andreas Henneberg - You Better Dont Say (SNOE)

An oldie but a goodie from none other than Andreas Henneberg with his track ‘You Better Don’t Say’. I usually find tracks from Andreas always fitting into my playlist no matter what the set is. I am also very excited to have mine and Susio’s next EP come out on his record label SNOE this May!

5) Claude VonStroke Feat. Barry Drift - I'm Solo (DIRTYBIRD)

I had to include a track from none other than Claude Vonstroke, especially after some of the last sets I saw were of him absolutely crushing the dance floor. He recently released what I believe to be the anthem for us all during quarantine and for the Spring. Let me know what your favorite release has been lately!

We want to send a massive Thank you to Mitch Dodge for taking the time to put together this epic list of Music for our Top 5 series. We will be back with another exciting list of Music soon so make sure to keep eye on our social media pages.
